2. sampheng lane (in Chinatown aka Yao-wa-raj area for accessories n nail art wateva all v cheap )
3. Siam Square (for all the trendy clothes n good food in restaurants Hard rock cafe is here too)
4. Siam paragon(same area as siam square for all the high life haha oh ppl say for lingerie but i think its almost same price as indons but of cos in SG everything is EX so get it )
5. SaparnPuth nite mkt (opens till 2 am for the nocturnal animals in U )
6. Chatuchak (for the experience of cos haha damn hot but worth it ppl say but i cant find much there though)

WARNING: pic heavy
i just wanna share some of my experiences in the beautiful country, well i know indon is equally beautiful but in terms of tourism , they still have lots to catch up on seriously. for one thing they can give more air rights to budget airlines so that ppl can visit u even if they are on a budget. ppl who are in a budget wont necessarily spend less either
here’s my theory: people travel because they have MONEY!! to spare, if they are living from hand to mouth, they wont travel, obviously. thus even budget travellers have money to spend. when they have a nice experience, they will be back n even before that, they will tell everyone of how “value-for-money” their holiday is. well i guess we are all bargain-hunters in some way or another rite?
so what makes a nice experience?
firstly is accessibility
bangkok (bkk) is the busiest airport in SEA (there i have said it , changi) n its airport is overwhelmed therefore they are building the new airport (not ready yet sadly) n why is the airport so bustling with activity? it is because they allow budget airlines (yes soekarno hatta n ngurah rai, i am reffering to U)
then taxi is darn cheap (well way cheaper than singapore’s) n new n comfortable n most of all SAFE. yes i heard many horror stories bout being conned by taxi/tuk-tuk driver but u can always get out of it, there is no harrassment.
just ask the uncle to turn on the meter before getting into a cab or negotiate prices before agreeing to a tuk-tuk
dun be seducted by the low prices they offered if they said any of these words “factory outlet”, “warehouse” etc that indicates shoppin cos its a CON
secondly, cheap n clean hotels
honestly i have tried all kinds of hotels in bangkok n thailand. i have tried the grand intercontinental bangkok at 170usd a nite the mid range baiyoke suite at bout 100sgd (this hotel is the tallest hotel in SEA if i am not wrong n good location in the heart of shoppin), the low mid range asia hotel at 70sgd to the cheap bangkok city suite at 30sgd only
i have to say that while intercontinetal is super convenient n comfortable n such, i dun mind saving money n stay at bkk city suite afta all when i am there i am out at 9 am n come back at 12 pm …its just a place to sleep n put stuff really
thirdly, good food
this is my fave
khao pad , its just fried noodles but it taste nice
n the mango sticky rice i posted before
n food is cheap with just 2 or 3 sgd u can get nice food to ur fill
not at restaurant la, at the roadside! sounds disgusting ya? but think hawker centre in the open thats all
n good attractions
well bkk is really famous for its temples
grand palace n stuff here is the golden mount temple the same place where i post pics of pm thaksin (haha dunno whether he’ll still be pm by the time i post this)
well some other locations beside bKK are also v nice
i am too lazy to continue liao
next time yar
