I have a new blog address already at ferreroroche.agaithen.com

That blog is still under construction, hopefully by the time this post goes online, you will be able to update ur bookmark and subscriptions to my feeds/emails on that blog. I will try to do it asap.

I shall be posting from there more than here, in fact I am scheduling a new post everyday, just to kick things off, I am sure I will slack later :(

agaithen.com is still under construction but soon it will be a site for A multi-player online game (not RPG though) designed by my partner, MrK.

it will be based on war, diplomacy, economy and of course most of all FUN.

if you like games like Tribal Wars and others like it, you will be happy to play this game because the features are highly sophisticated.

You can also expect frequent updates

and most of all, ITS FREE to play the game

so watch this space to know more, I will posts screenshots, how-to play, the best tutorials and so on.

but if you want to be the first beta users, you can let me know, my email can be found in the ‘like my writing?’ page.

yeah that is my primary email, so I cannot afford spam in it, so be patient n do not use cut and paste

MY skincare routine July 31, 2009

I consider myself to be of normal skin, though a little oily in the T zone area and dry towards the eyes and neck area.

But since I am still young, I have very simple skincare routine.

My skin problems is uneven skintone and dark eye rings. I also start forming wrinkles around the eyes probably due to dryness from the excessive air conditioning that envelopes me everyday.

in the past teenage years, I use clean and clear 3 steps and I was free from acne throughout my life.
then Mom reccomended me to use Dr Secret, OVERPRICED AND NOT worth it skincare line by multi level marketing company. Please do not use their products, filled with harsh chemicals and in the long run, it only RUINS your skin.

But of course I need to finish using it first

well here it goes

Morning:
Wash face with water
Dry with cotton (usually my t shirt that I am wearing, yeah I know its kinda unhygienic but I dont really dry thoroughly, the rest of the water is air-dried)
Sunblock from Dr SECRET (SPF 25 Only and I am so changing it!!)
Origins lip Protector lipbalm SPF 8 (very strong peppermint taste, when I finish it up i am also changing it)

NIGHT (more complicated)
Origins Checks and Balances Frothy face wash
Himalayan Herbals Exfoliating face scrub in Wheatgerm (2-3x a week as a substitute of the regular face wash)
I only tone before I sleep and after I brush my teeth
Clean and Clear toner (the blue color one) (I am also changing this one, so drying and full of alcohol!!)
The face shop Raspberry roots sleeping mask as a moisturiser all over face and neck
Some vitE gel as lip balm (I am getting a proper lip balm soon too)

and once or twice a week
Queen Helene Mint Julep mask
or Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask

I am trying to finish up all the masks I bought so far, so sometimes I also use Freeman Blueberry and Champagne peel off mask. Watson’s Bird Nest’s Paper masks etc

well simple and short right,

but I have more added soon cos I just ordered some stuff from Garden of Wisdom, I will get back when my loots arrive.

For the body moisturisers, I use Boots hands and cream MEDITERRANIAN range, I also mix it with Dr Secret moisturisers, both are depleting and I am using all other moisturisers I bought so far to just mix and slather, when all this finish I am switching to full organics skincare.

after reading about all harsh chemicals I am really scared. and I am changing all my products or at least try to cos organics are really expensive from hair products, to makeup (all mineral but its very messy) and skincare.

Tioman pt 3 (the last part) July 25, 2009

Today we signed up for a half day tour round the island.

Early morning we took a boat out to coral island for 2 snorkelling spots and then back to renggis island for final snorkelling.

I am very sea-sick prone but they do not provide any tablets so I just ignore it. we brought our gears to the sea sport centre at the other end of the resort and we missed the shuttle cos we were a little late. it was quite a long walk.

the fee is rm 100 each or so inclusive of gear rentals.

c

soon we were on the boat after some briefing and leaving tioman behind. it was a nice breezy morning and the sea water look so creamy, I do not remember Bali waters looking like that?

anyway I lost the underwater camera so no pic from the deep sea.

but the guides did say actually the best place to snorkel in Tioman is simply few metres away from the hotel, Renggis island.

we could just swim there

anyway after the second stop i was seasick and so did mrK, we kept throwing up our breakfast.

other than that, we are actually OK. but after a few times we got hungry and exhausted and did not go to the renggis island snorkelling. Instead, we return to the room, changed and showered and get a few winks before going back to catch another boat out.

We asked them beforehand before going back to the room whether we can do so first of course. well they dont mind actually.

so we snorkel for another 40 plus mins around renggis island before catching the boat back.

Dinner today at the chinese restaurant again. and I was having big big headache the whole day.

AT night we catch the movie the taLE of Desperaux , a movie about loyalty, apology and bravery.
its a cartoon actually. this was the first and last time I saw the laptop during the trip and it got stolen.

its a laptop installed with windows 7, and its BIOS n hard disk is password protected. good luck selling it u rotten thief!!!

anyway after the movie we shared a few glasses of Malibu Pineapple, also the only bottle we brought back though we bought 2 other hard liquor.

well in the morning we just had our breakfast and then check out.

the ferry arrive super duper late, and I think its usual, cos we saw ppl strolling in only at 1 pm for the supposedly 12 pm ferry, so we bought some tidbits from the nearby markets.

coconut for some reason is expensive in tioman, so we didnt have any, quite weird considering its a beach destination. maybe the forest behind it makes the water not so salty?

anyway back in mersing, we had durians at some roadside stall.

btw parking is approximately 8rm A day and night so its quite reasonable and very safe. Nothing has been stolen so far.

we also bought the POOR cousin of mangoes. they are small, taste like mangoes but when they are ripe they rot too fast. they are very cheap and usually used unripe for rojak and the like.

do not buy them unless u bought the unripe ones

so we went to JB for dinner at our fave place, Vivo restaurant in Jusco tebrau city. This time instead of parking at our usual basement car park we park upstairs.

we are quite careless and left our bags in the second row, fully visible.

and after grocery shopping and dinner, we found ourselves losing 2 big valuable bags.

one red nike bags containing all our snorkelling gear and clean clothes and another containing our electronics such as my laptop and cables for charging our electronics.

but we still have our phones and digi cam, and another bag containing our dirty clothes.

then we spent the whole night making police reports in malaysia and singapore. we only came back like 2-3 am, and nothing we can get back from the insurers cause the theft is in Malaysia and thats not covered. and nothing happened to the car except for the fact that windows had been forced down and yet no real marks or defects happened

very bad way of ending our very nice holiday

oh well lets close this chapter.

btw I have since went back to JB, its quite ok just do not bring anything and put anything visible inside the car. plus i did not go to tebrau city, i just went to the tesco next door. cheaper stuff but nothing to buy shopping wise unlike topshop and mango in the shopping mall.

but i guess thats why more thief are prowling that area. cos ppl spend longer there with the movie theatre and numerous restaurants n shops present

Ok, I wrote in my Twitter already, that I actually got selected for the challenge.

this means, free airtix to Penang, and 2 N stay at a Georgetown hotel and lastly 120rm Spending money for my team!

the challenge is to do 5 things in penang with just 120rm.

I did my research and here is the tentative itenary.
I know mrK not thrilled to visit Sun Yat Sen memorial.but i got him to visit the singapore memorial with me with BUS. yeah now we drove everywhere. its almost impossible to get him to go anywhere by bus!

plus the memorial in SG, need to walk quite far from the bus stop.

but in penang, we are going to try the RAPID Penang bus. hopefully there is a bus stop nearby our hotel.

well till July 1st then.

will be updating on twitter if I can steal some of MrK broadband time

5 things we wanna do in Penang: all prices for 2 persons except food prices

1> From airport take bus to hotel in Georgetown area (RM 5), check in and then go to gurney drive for dinner.(take CAT free shuttle)
will eat our fill of hawker food: Char Kway Tiaw with duck egg (rm 5), laksa (Rm 4), glutinious rice (mochi) (Rm 1 each buy 5 =Rm 5) and sotong bakar (grilled sotong = rm 10).
We will then take a stroll along the beach to aid digestion before walking back to the hotel and passing by the beautiful sights such as Mansion 32 or take the CAT shuttle again.

tonight rest early before a long exciting day tomorrow

2> wake up early and leave hotel by taking Rapid penang bus (RM 5) to Pasar air itam to eat laksa as breakfast (Rm 5) and CKT(rm 5) just next door from this famous asam laksa place.
then hike up to Kek Lok Si (temple of supreme bliss) to offer a prayer and enjoy the hilltop scenery.

3>after that take a funicular train up penang hill (bukit bendara ) to enjoy cool air and enjoy the quaint surroundings (RM8). maybe visit the bird park (rm 8). Bus ride = Rm 3

4> next is the famous sun-yat- sen memorial (there is 5 in the world to commemorate his struggle against dynasy ruling in china). 2 in china, 1 in singapore 1 in taiwan and last one in penang. we have been to 4 of them and this last one will complete our knowledge in history of Early Republic of China. Entrance fee = RM 6, bus ride from penang hill train station = rm 4

5> after that we will hunt for food again first up is the curry mee at lorong seratus tahun
and then cendol nearby and end the night by taking a BUS to batu ferringghi and go to the beach to enjoy the sunset.
we will also be having dinner here. Lunch = RM 15 , Snacks = RM 5 Dinner = RM 15, bus rides = RM 10

Total cost = RM 118

and to win the challenge, grandprize is air tix to HONGKONG with 2N accomodation in kowloon

I need to blog and pose with star jump pics.

finally, those of u who never see me before, gets a glimpse of my face.
Yeah I am quite excited!!!

the bluetooth company is closing down and they are selling bluetooh for just like $15 for 2 but we bought a better version…initially selling for $50 each but managed to get it at $50 for 2

not for me though, I dont really use bluetooth

still very slow progresss in my FYP

sigh

yeah almost ending…

the semester that is…its less than a month away…or probably its one month to the final day of the exams…I still remember my holidays working in Dad’s company…plus some other singapore company…at night its TV shows and playing with my dogs…

visiting nearby places…

whew this year is a record time I went to Genting, I was there nearly every week in this semester

and now I am paying for it, making up what I miss in lessons, tutorials etc etc

then the cycle repeats every same

Oh…My only wish to God when I pray every time is that I have enough courage to study continuously….yes I never done it before…I am supposedly to be exam smart…or shld I say a BIG procastinator…

but in chem engin…everyone works hard continously so its not enough to cram just a week before the exams just like O or A levels.

pray for me then…dear God, friends and family…to help me have the courage to study continously all the time

YAY to lifelong learning

Long awaited update August 31, 2008

its been so long

I am still here, the same old person who stumbles into lecture halls every morning late, but at least I try to make to every lecture nowadays, schedules are packed with tutorials lectures and labs

but now added with TRAvEl times…cos yeah lazy me too lazy to join cca to gain points

but the update is that

1> I have converted my pink PSP to a full time companion: music, video, and  games and relegate my Phone to just becoming my GPS navigator and a phone, sometimes as a lecture note reader and the occasional sudoku.

2> to finish this quest, I bought a new 4GB memory stick and a new Aurvana earphone at the recent COMEX show. I also bought a printer toner to replace my fuddy duddy one.

3> Now I have a whopping 4 memory stick totalling 13GB…unlucky u think? but not really cos the first 1GB is for my trusty camera…an old 8 MP camera from sony the other 1 solely for psp games and 2 more for music songs videos and games.

4> when I bought the camera for my japan trip, yes all pictures from the japan trip was taken with that camera the other indon trip is taken with a LUMIX 12MP camera and others also taken by the sony camera. the memory stick cos $120 bucks almost like 1/3 the price of the camera..but yesterday i bought 4GB at only $30. technology makes everything affordable…maybe even my dream DSLR….

5> about the zen aurvana…2 years ago when its launch it was $180, last year it was still $170, this year too…but some other ppl bought something so I got it at $99. so why am I so crazy to buy such an expensive earphone that is worth like 4 hrs of my teaching tuition.
aurvan2
aurvana3
aurvana1
well maybe pictures speak a thousand words.
it come with a super nice case (learning from apple i guess) with nice design on the earphone too

but most importantly is that it blocks external noises, cos even library can be distracting and my new place is super near the MRT and mrt is not the quietest thing on earth. In fact recent studies show that MRT stations noise can equal the noisiest clubs in town. so I am like clubbing every night when I am home ???

and according to Dr. R. Tan, noises above 21dB is quite dangerous so I am saving my ear now by spending just $100. Ok enough justifications. however there was a whole load of other good headphones (not earphones though) it seems like those audiophiles only use headphones thus they keep on concentrating on making good headphones….but maybe tiny earphones cant fit more capacitors etc etc. I dunno but the point is I am quite happy and safe now

and lastly my beloved pink PSP

pink psp

thats all now,

btw I spend close to 1k on the comex show, besides buying the above, I help friends buy…2 harddisk (one photobank 250GB, normal HD 320GB) creative zen stone plus 4GB, sign up for AA membership for 3 years they said this is very useful for road trips to malaysia…provide free tyre change and towing …. 2 bluetooth headset from Itech, their latest model with noise filtering technology. super nice and cool
itech
here is the picture taken from elsewhere

comes in black, silver and maroon, We bought 2 blacks, maroons were outta stock and silver is just too loud

Half a semester has gone, and I am glad that I am not that much lagging behind. I have slacked too much the previous semesters and I am glad it is not the same

of course I am still behind, therefore this week break, I dont think I am going anywhere, unlike the previous semester

so yeah no updating again for while

please be patient with the rest of the updating
